• Young adults lean into food and fun

Welcome to one of the most hope filled places this side of the Mississippi!  You'll find children singing in the sanctuary, youth laughing in the hall, men cooking breakfast, woman gathering for coffee and room for you too. There's hope for each of us in Jesus Christ. I really believe it. Most of us have been to a place of great hopelessness in our lives. Here at New Hope, you'll find we understand what it is to be broken and we are passionate about reaching out with the love of Jesus in all kinds of ways. I am Pastor Teresa and I believe in the Bible and the work of the Holy Spirit. My passion for Jesus is centered around helping people find and receive healing. We hope it won't be long before you join us  as we worship, laugh, sing, and learn, all on our quest to claim the New Hope Jesus offers.

See you soon, Pastor Teresa

  • Bring Joy Bible Study

You are welcome to join this small group gathering focused upon moving from depression to a place of hope and healing.  The group studies the lament Psalms while offering compassion, companions on the journey, and laughter. Through Scripture Study, laughter, prayer, and creativity we will move in the direction of joy. Led by Pastor Teresa, whose doctor of ministry studies degree is in Spirituality and the Psalms of Lament moving from Suffering to Hope and Healing and whose book, "Through the Darkest Valley" documents her own faith journey from depression to healing.

The group meets weekly on Wednesdays at Fredericksburg Baptist Church on Princess Anne Street at 10:15 a.m. in Room C 214 Adult Pod.

  • Join the New Hope Book Club!
